Niklaus Bauer is well known for his huge tube flies. But these bulky and flashy patterns rigged with tandem hooks, rattles etc. are not his first choice in every situation. This is why he designed a series of Pike Deceivers, based up on classic patterns and tied with natual materials mainly.
In contrast to attraction patterns these streamers can be key to success in clear waters, during winter period when pike are less aggressive or when fishing pressure is high in general. They can be casted easily on lighter rods as well, perform great and are very durable. Tied on very strong hooks #4/0 in Finland.
