With the Airflo Superflo Cold Salt Universal Floating, Airflo introduces another brilliant fly line for streamer fishing on our coastlines, lakes, or large rivers. Easy rod loading, thanks to ingenious weight distribution, yet stable in the air even with a lot of line outside the rod - these are the arguments for the Cold Salt Universal.
The Airflo Superflo Cold Salt Universal Floating has a quiet long head of 13.1 meters for a streamer line, but the weight distribution and the 6-meter long rear taper ensure that the line has plenty of power and is also very stable in the air. This combination of a powerful head and the long rear taper allows for loading the rod with just a few meters of line, but also enables the ability to move the entire head outside the rod to achieve truly immense distances. This is particularly advantageous when wading for sea trout or pike, allowing for more coverage. To withstand these immense forces of the head, the fly line has been equipped with a 3.6-meter long "haul zone," providing both more control over the cast and reinforcing the area of the line that is most stressed. Additionally, the line features Airflo's SUPERFLO coating, which is already known for its longer lifespan. A low-stretch Power Core, Micro Loops at both ends of the line, and a highly visible Line ID complete the overall picture of the Superflo Cold Salt Universal.
The Floating line is the best choice for fishing in shallow areas or with surface flies like skater and poppers. The Airflo fly line is therefore the right choice for an all-round streamer line, whether for pike or sea trout. The line is incredibly easy to cast, stable in the air, and thanks to the long rear taper and haul zone, achieving maximum casting distances is effortless.
