We had the opportunity to extensively test this reel directly at its product launch. Even in the smallest components, single-use plastic has been completely avoided. This consistent approach aligns with Guideline's core philosophy as a sustainable, environmentally conscious brand, raising the bar once again for other fly fishing manufacturers.

About the Product
The new Guideline NOVA is not only a thoroughly sustainable product but also a powerful addition to the product lineup. It succeeds the universally popular FAVO Fly Reel and is positioned in a very affordable price range. However, technically, the reel performs at a very high level: The frame design was constructed to reduce weight with the components used. The special spoke design of the spool plays a crucial role – the fine cross struts not only look modern and futuristic but also reduce weight while simultaneously increasing structural integrity. Inside the reel, a powerful carbon brake system is hidden, perfectly tuned to the respective application depending on the reel size. The light line classes are tuned for finesse, while the larger reels offer more braking power. Several technical improvements in the brake system ensure constant pressure during a fight to protect your leaders optimally.
The reel is available in three different sizes: 4/6 – 7/9 – 8/10. This makes it ideal for light trout fishing to heavy predator fishing or even two-handed fishing.
