About Guideline Elevation Single-Hand Rods
First things first: The unique Guideline Elevation series sets new standards in terms of environmentally conscious production. Thus, this is the "green" flagship of the Scandinavian cult brand, which has developed a truly exemplary manufacturing process for the environment's sake. Following a very environmentally conscious principle, this innovative production leaves the smallest possible "ecological footprint". In the spirit of sustainability, the production of these rods largely avoids harmful materials and substances. But not only their environmental balance, but also their impressive performance, impresses us completely!
Its matte, almost unpolished blank gives the Elevation single-hand fly rod a relatively fast action with high recovery speed. Therefore, it offers you assertive casting characteristics for a truly versatile performance. Additionally, it combines impressive lightness, excellent stability, and very high-quality components. In short: While being environmentally conscious during its manufacture, no compromises were made regarding its performance and durability, making it a reliable, long-term companion - in line with sustainability. Moreover, all models of the Elevation series are perfectly tailored to their respective areas of application - from delicate fishing for salmonids to winter pike hunting with large flies.
Undoubtedly, Guideline sets entirely new standards in environmental awareness with this rod series - and this at a very attractive price. Thus, the truly innovative Elevation single-hand fly rod is the perfect choice for environmentally conscious fly anglers who also place great value on excellent performance!
Elevation Nymph
The three Euro nymph rods of the Elevation series seamlessly continue the idea of the entire series with their lightweight blank and well-balanced, precise action. For these specialty rods, Guideline has tailored the construction components and their arrangement specifically to the needs of modern nymph anglers. This includes a downward-locking reel seat for perfect balance, a individually designed, extra-slim cork grip with a fine end cap, as well as special guides: The first stripping guide has been moved closer to the handle, and in addition to the lightweight single leg guides at the penultimate position, a snake guide has been installed to prevent line wrapping during casting.
The action of the rod has also been optimized for fishing with Euro nymph rigs. The medium-fast flex combined with a sensitive tip allows for both long casts and provides the necessary buffer when fishing with thin leaders. However, the blank remains lively and responsive to ensure optimal precision when casting lighter nymphs.
There are also some improved rod details for the Elevation Nymph rods. The surface of the blank has a new matte coating, which is created by using a specially treated shrink wrap during production. The spiral pattern prevents thinner nymph monofilament from sticking to the wet blank and restricting casting.
