The Compline PRO is the long-awaited successor to the popular Compline II by Guideline. This mono running line has an oval shape, which cuts through the water even better and is still easy to grip. Thanks to its bright Hi-Vis colors, it’s easy to track the fly on the water. Its super smooth surface, combined with its flat cross-section, ensures it shoots through the guides with minimal friction. Long casts are effortless, and casting with this new running line is just pure fun. The Compline PRO offers the perfect amount of stretch and is available in different diameters, making it suitable for everything from light single-hand fishing on the coast to heavy salmon fishing.

The material of the Guideline Compline PRO is truly remarkable, as it stays completely straight even when dry. Kinks in the running line, such as from tangling or knots, have never been easier to remove! Moreover, despite its smooth texture, the surface is very grippy and extremely durable. Even after repeated stepping on it or getting caught (in rocks and bushes), we could hardly detect any damage. A huge plus, especially when you might be expecting a big salmon at any time.
Each running line is sold on a 100m spool with a mark at 50m. This allows you to use one spool for two fly reels if needed. Compared to its predecessor, the colors of the Compline PRO are much brighter and more saturated, so you get an extremely visible line even in low light.
The black marker at 50m simplifies dividing the line between different reels. The bright colors of the running lines are especially noticeable in low light conditions.
