- Adams Max Black
The Adams Max Black rod is the perfect hybrid between the Max Evo and the XTZ. It stands out with its robust construction and excellent features for targeted fishing of large fish. The sensitive tip paired with a powerful backbone combines excellent bite detection with uncompromising fighting capabilities. The Max Black features a sanded, unvarnished blank, providing high stiffness and stability. This allows you to effortlessly cast heavy nymphs and streamers and effectively fight and land large fish. The rod has a fast tip action, which, especially with weighted flies, allows for more precision than many other nymph rods on the market. The Max Black is specially designed for targeted fishing of large, powerful fish and/or in stronger currents. However, thanks to the delicate tip and the special carbon handle, it still offers a high level of sensitivity and bite detection.

- Adams XTZ
The Adams XTZ rod stands out with its particularly sensitive and versatile rod action. With its semi-parabolic action, it offers excellent precision and outstanding sensitivity while fishing and casting. The XTZ is perfect for fishing with delicate, lightweight nymphs and even allows for dry fly presentations on the nymph leader. Its unsanded blank has a spiral texture, ensuring that thinner monofilament lines do not stick to the blank in rainy or humid conditions. The fine semi-parabolic blank, combined with the high-quality carbon handle, enables incredibly precise bite detection, a high level of control during drifts and casts, and allows for fishing with incredibly fine tippet strengths, as the blank effectively absorbs strong head shakes. The XTZ is particularly designed for fly fishermen who enjoy nymph fishing with a light touch, seek extremely delicate presentations, and desire a high level of control and sensitivity. Especially during summer fishing, in clear waters, and when pursuing elusive, hard-to-catch fish, the XTZ is our weapon of choice.
