We tested these products in Spain together with Dani Garcia (Spain) and Bob Schmitz (Luxembourg) from Adams and present you all the details about these interesting new products for nymph fishing.
Adams Sight Marker
The Sight Marker from Adams is an innovative product that has been influenced by the needs of fly fishermen from the European competition scene. This marker is specially designed to improve your strike detection and offers different colours for optimal visibility in different light conditions. With this pen, you can quickly and easily apply helpful visual markings on your leader or tippet. But not only do you save time and money compared to tying in a conventional sighter made of mono, you can also completely eliminate potential weak links in your setup and minimise slack.
Using the Multicolor Sight Marker on the Adams Euro Nymph Mono Line
In our opinion, the markers are an interesting alternative to a conventional sighter material made of monofilament and a must-have for ambitious nymph fishermen! Available in 3 or 6 bright colours, the pen works particularly well on the Adams Euro Nymph Mono Line.
Euro Nymph Mono Line
As the Adams Fly Rods Euro Nymph Mono Line comes on a handy 100m spool, it is plenty to make a whole range of nymph leaders - or simply attach the material completely to your fly reel. An obvious feature of this monofilament is its white colour. Not only is 'white' extremely visible (especially against a dark background), but it can also be custom coloured with the matching Sight Marker by Adams. All in all, this line has everything we expect from a special nymph leader: Memory-Free, Low Stretch, High Visibility. And in combination with the matching Sight Marker, a perfect, delicate solution for a clean presentation.
